Responsibilities

As a Board Member, you will be expected to:

Governance: Ensure the organization abides by its mission, values, and bylaws.

Strategic Planning: Participate in the development and approval of the organization’s strategic plan.

Financial Oversight: Review and approve budgets, ensure financial stability, and oversee financial reporting.

Fundraising: Support the organization in fundraising efforts and contribute to resource development.

Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for the organization and promote its mission and goals within the community.

Policy Development: Help create and review organizational policies and procedures.

Meeting Attendance: Attend board meetings regularly and actively participate in discussions and decision-making.

Communication: Ensure access to email and other communication tools for ongoing collaboration with fellow board members.

Qualifications

Passion for the mission of Inspired Horizons Collective.
Minimum 1 year Experience in nonprofit management, finance, and fundraising.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other board members and staff.
